Ribbon aneurysms or reproduction?

Or which comes first the ribbon or the chip?

I have 4 slides which have I prepared in August 2022. These were prepared on the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th. Each was prepared in a similar way by placing drops or a smear of Pfizer injectable on a slide and then adding successive drops on top whilst trying not to enlarge the sample itself. I did not put these under a cover slip. Not because I was attempting to do something different per se but because I was trying to understand what I was seeing in the liquid vaccine. The appearance of this is quite mesmerising and terrifying at the same time.

On several occasions I encouraged “the solution” to run around the corner of a coverslip and attempted to put the accompanying video to music. “Under the Milky Way” by The Church worked well as did “Do you see what I see” by Hunters and Collectors - great Aussie rock bands from the ‘80’s for overseas readers. I will post a few of the sample videos on my website under Pfizer liquid.

The slide from the 5th August is a particular favourite. Actually the 4th was the favourite however I have just about trashed it completely , having said that I think I may have figured out a way to resurrect it so stand by. Anyway this week I discovered a new setting in my bright field condenser - if combined with the Enhanced Dynamic Focus (EDF) on the software, and with certain filter and iris settings, it allows for a great 3D effect whilst providing focus, excellent detail and a range of tones at a higher magnification - excellent! Here are a couple of examples:

This last image shows the problem as I scraped the surface of the slide. This was clearly a case of operator error. However I have learnt that every accident affords opportunity so I had a look to see what damage had been done.

I noticed that I had scraped both sides of a ribbon:

I also noticed that this ribbon had a most unusual feature that I had not seen before. It appeared to have four “aneurysms” which I thought may have been a result of the trauma sustained by the scrape. Initially I took photos in bright field but I went back over the weekend and took some dark field images as well.

I am grateful for the encouragement from Dr Ana Mihalcea to write this up so that she can interpret these findings in the light of her research and recent conversations.

In several images above small and large chips can be seen inside the ribbon. Certainly this is not natural biology. It is clearly synthetic but is it self-healing or reproducing or neither that is the question.
